摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for separating and supplying sample sheet and a method of separating and supplying sample sheet contributable to an improvement in working efficiency and reduction in cost in testing, inspection and processing of a sample sheet while enabling even carrying of various kinds of sample sheets different in physical properties such as the thickness and friction coefficient. SOLUTION: A paper feeding roller 3, a lower roller 5 and an upper roller 6 are rotated in the normal direction by a control means 17, and rotation in the normal direction of the lower roller 5 is stopped with input of a detecting signal of a first sensor 15 as a trigger detecting the sample sheet S sandwiched between the lower roller 5 and the upper roller 6 and carried in the normal direction. Thereafter, rotation in the normal direction of the paper feeding roller 3 and the upper roller 6 is stopped with input of a detecting signal of a second sensor 16 as a trigger detecting the sample sheet S, the paper feeding roller 3 is also separated from a paper feeding cassette 2, and the lower roller 5 is rotated in the inverse direction. An electric current detector 18 stops rotation in the inverse direction of the lower roller 5 by determining separation of one sample sheet S by detecting a stable state in a predetermined time of an electric current value of motors for driving the lower roller 5, and controls driving of the respective motors 3M, 5M and 6M so as to carry only the one sample sheet S by rotating a lower pinch roller 8 and an upper pinch roller 9 in the normal direction by sandwiching the one sample sheet S separated between the lower pinch roller 8 and the upper pinch roller 9.
