PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a packaging body having faces each of which has at least a partly doubled wall to give resistance to an external force. SOLUTION: An article to be held is compressively held with shrinkable films of a pair of article holders each having the shrinkable film stuck to an open window part, and the article to be held is held with restricting means restricting the compressively pinched attitude. Two pairs of trapezoidal flaps, mutually abutting on each other, of a pair of the article holders are bent at approximately 90 degrees in such a direction that the flaps separate from each other, and two pairs of rectangular flaps, mutually abutting on each other, of a pair of the article holders are bent at an angle the same as the angle of a tilting side each flap abutting thereon. By this the article to be held is housed in an outer package carton having a rectangular cross-section so that a pair of base plates are located on a diagonal line of the inner surface of the article holder, and that the article to be held is suspended in a space and immovable in a narrow state.
