PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shield terminal in which a shield wire terminal part can be crimped without causing a positional shift in the front and rear direction, and down-sizing can be promoted. SOLUTION: Since in a barrel piece 34 of the external conductor 30, a braided wire crimping part 34A and a sheath crimping part 34B are integrally formed without leaving spacing in the front and rear direction, length size of the external conductor 30 in the front and rear direction becomes smaller compared with a case in which gaps are installed between both crimping parts in order to prevent the positional shift of the shield wire 40, thus the down-sizing of the shield terminal 1 can be promoted. Moreover, when the terminal part of the shield wire 40 is arranged at a prescribed position, a contacting fringe 38A of the external conductor 30 comes to contact the front fringe 44A of the sheath 44, thus positioning of the terminal part of the shield wire 40 is made.
