PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical pickup device in which read and write performance of a recording plane of an optical disk can be kept satisfactory for a long period by almost uniformalizing friction resistance applied to all bearing parts during sliding of a main body part and by suppressing change caused by long period used of parallel degree of the recording plane and the main body part. SOLUTION: The optical pickup device has two shafts 8, 8 arranged in parallel each other, and a main body part 1 attached to the two shafts 8, 8 so as to be able to slide and reciprocating on one flat plane. This main body part 1 has two main bearing parts 15, 15 connected to one side of the shafts, and one sub-bearing part 16 connected to the other side of the shafts. Centroid G1 of the main body part 1 is positioned at the inside of a bearing part region Z1 formed by connecting centers of all bearing parts 15, 16 so as to form an external form.
