PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a near-infrared absorption film for improving a haze value, and durability particularly under high temperature and high humidity by using an aqueous resin reducing use of an organic solvent in manufacturing. SOLUTION: The near-infrared absorption film has a film-like support; and a near-infrared absorption layer formed on the support and containing a near-infrared absorption dyestuff and a polymer aqueous dispersion matter. The haze value is 4% or less. A weight ratio of polymer to the near-infrared absorption dyestuff of the near-infrared absorption layer is in a range of 0.7-25, preferably in a range of 1.0-10. The near-infrared absorption film contains the near-infrared absorption dyestuff and the polymer aqueous dispersion matter, prepares an aqueous composition in which the weight ratio of polymer to the near-infrared absorption dyestuff is in a range of 0.7-25, and dries to apply the aqueous composition on the support to form the near-infrared absorption layer.
