PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique for stably maintaining accuracy of liquid drops for a long period of time. SOLUTION: The surface of a nozzle 103 of a liquid crystal material discharge device is coated with a liquid repelling film comprising a polymer compound having a perfluoroalkyl group. Even when the liquid drop is brought into contact with the nozzle surface, since the drop does not spread, reservation of a liquid at the nozzle top is not caused and discharge failure and failure in a discharge direction are not caused.
