PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an organic solvent coating type heat developable photosensitive material excellent in raw preservation stability and image preservation stability. SOLUTION: The heat developable photosensitive material has an image forming layer containing at least a photosensitive silver halide, a non-photosensitive organic silver salt, a reducing agent for heat development and a binder on at least one surface of a support, wherein≥50 mass% of the binder is a modified polyvinyl acetal resin containing 1-20 mol% ofα-olefin units in a main chain, and the heat developable photosensitive material has an undercoat layer containing a polymer latex having a crosslinking group between the support and the image forming layer.
