PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal device for simplifying a circuit structure. SOLUTION: The liquid crystal device includes a gamma correction circuit, a digital-analog conversion circuit, and an adjustment circuit. The gamma correction circuit 11 corrects a gradation value of image data of each color of a plurality of input colors based on gamma characteristics of any one out of a plurality of mutually different colors. The digital-analog conversion circuit generates an output signal of each color of a plurality of colors converting image data of each color of the plurality of the colors correcting the gradation value into an analog signal. The adjustment circuit adjusts the output signal of each color except for one color out of the output signal of each color of the plurality of the colors based on gamma characteristics of each color except for the one color. Thus, since need having a look-up table indicating the gamma characteristics is eliminated in each color, a capacity of a memory storing the look-up table indicating the gamma characteristics can be decreased, and the gamma correction circuit can be simplified.
