PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To carry first and second components in parallel with each other and in one direction, and to facilitate assembling work when the first and second components are assembled each other in the carrying state. SOLUTION: The component assembling device 1 comprises a first carrying line 26 capable of carrying the first component 3 toward one direction A at first carrying speed V1, and a second carrying line 27 extending in parallel with the first carrying line and capable of carrying each second component 4 toward the one direction A at second carrying speed V2. In a plurality of assembling areas successively set toward the one direction A, the first component 3 and the second component 4 are successively assembled. Relative speed of the first and second carrying speed V1, V2 is made to be variable so as to change a relative position in the one direction A of the first component carried by the first carrying line and the second component 4 carried by the second carrying line 27 at each assembling area.
