PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a retrieval service system capable of playing the role of a retrieval platform, and a method therefor by preliminarily inputting contents possessed by a user who can hardly establish a retrieval service by himself/herself in a form of shaped data, and providing a retrieval service to the contents owned by the user based thereon. SOLUTION: The retrieval service system 20 plays the role of a retrieval platform which provides computing resources and various functions necessary for realizing the retrieval service to the user who can hardly establish a retrieval service by himself/herself. The user preliminarily inputs the content owned by himself/herself in the form of shaped data through an open API.
