PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a game machine capable of charging batteries while preventing a fraud. SOLUTION: This game machine 1 which has a communication function and is electrically connectable to a cellular phone 100 with rechargeable batteries via a USB cable 101, is also provided with a USB terminal 91 for connecting the other end of the USB cable 101 whose one end is connected to the cellular phone 100. When detecting that the cellular phone 100 is connected thereto via the USB cable 101, determining whether the power supply of the connected cellular phone 100 is turned on or off, and determining the power supply of the cellular phone 100 is turned off, this game machine charges the rechargeable batteries of the cellular phone 100 via the USB cable 101.
