PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent dent and damage caused by falling from stairs or being collided with furniture due to the movement of a cleaner body by the rotation of moving wheels during cleaning the dust collection device in the vacuum cleaner provided with the dust collection device. SOLUTION: This vacuum cleaner is provided with a body of the vacuum cleaner incorporating an electric blower 4 and the dust collection device 11, moving wheels 41a and 41b provided under the body, and a stopper 40 as a movement regulation means for regulating the movement of the body. When the dust collection device 11 is taken out from the dust collection device storage part 3 of the body, the stopper 40 locks the rotation of the moving wheels 41a to regulate the movement of the body.
