PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fishing power reel which can obtain concentricity, with respect to one-way clutch of the rotating shaft of the drive motor, with high accuracy and reduce the length of the rotation shaft of the driving motor, and which is suitable for size reduction of the reel. SOLUTION: This fishing power reel participating in one embodiment has a concave portion 32 formed in the reel body 5, rotatably disposing an armature 35 inside the concave portion 32, and attaching a magnet 33 that constitutes a magnetic field in the inside 32a of the concave portion 32 facing the armature 35, to form the drive motor 30 for rotatively driving a spool 7, that covers the opening portion of the concave portion 32 with a cover body 40 and forming the cover body 40 as a unit that holds, on the inside; a bearing 47 rotatably supporting a motor rotating shaft 31 that has the armature 35 mounted thereon; and one-way clutch 46 which permits rotation of the motor rotating shaft 31 in one direction and inhibiting rotation in the other direction.
