The support has an outer mechanical supporting structure (11) with low stiffness and an inner mechanical supporting structure (12) with high stiffness. The structure (12) is integrated to the structure (11) when a gas turbine engine operates based on speed lower than determined rotational speed. The structure (12) is disintegrated from the structure (11) when the engine operates based on the speed higher than the determined speed. An independent claim is also included for a coupling system for controlling actuating units, in a bearing support.
