PROCESS AND APPARATUS FOR PRODUCING POLYMER MEMBER

A process for polymer member production in which a pressurized fluid containing a modifying material is more easily and stably introduced into a molten resin within an injection molding machine. The process is for producing a polymer member with an injection molding machine equipped with a mold and a heating cylinder. The process comprises: introducing a pressurized fluid comprising a modifying material, liquid carbon dioxide, and a liquid in which the modifying material is soluble into a molten resin within the heating cylinder while regulating the flow rate with a cylinder; and injecting the molten resin containing the pressurized fluid into the mold to thereby mold a polymer member containing the modifying material in inner parts under the surface.
