<p>The device comprises a series of layers of photochromic material (1-2-3), superimposed and obtained by the "sol-gel" method with maximum absorption peaks in different ranges of the visible spectrum and arranged on transparent glass substrate (4), in such a way that the assembly is applicable to any conventional camera. The method for obtaining images consists in arrangement of the device on the b/n sensor for image detection, after which the three colours (blue, red and yellow) are activated by means of a simultaneous ultraviolet flash, thereby obtaining the contribution of each colour to the image from images taken according to the thermal whitening times for each colour by subtracting images with coefficients for each colour calibrated with a model colour sample in such a way that the coloured image of the scene is recovered by processing the images obtained using colour algebra techniques.</p> |
