The shaft is sealed against the gas tract in a bearing housing (106) using interior piston rings (108, 110). A compressor is driven by the shaft, and a gap (112) is formed between the piston rings and conveyed using the compressor. A compressor wheel (114) is arranged in the gap between the piston rings. The compressor sucks surrounding air via a non-return valve by bypassing a vehicle compressed air system.</p>
