<p>The method involves partially converting a reducing agent precursor at a hydrolysis catalyst to a reducing agent, which is collectively conveyed with exhaust gas to a reduction catalyzer for selective catalystic reduction. The exhaust gas is partially heated in an electrically heatable catalyzer-carrier body operated with a heating power of 0.5 to 3 kilowatts. The exhaust gas is flown through the catalyzer-carrier body, and complete exhaust gas flow is electrically heated. An independent claim is also included for a device for reducing part of nitrogen oxide in exhaust gas of an internal combustion engine.</p> |
