POLYNUCLEOTIDE OF STREPTOCOCCUS PNEUMONIAE AND SEQUENCE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the necessity of characterizing the genome of S. pneumoniae and a polynucleotide of the organism.

SOLUTION: A computer-readable medium has a nucleotide sequence having a specific sequence, a typical fragment thereof, or a nucleotide sequence having at least 95% homology with the nucleotide sequence having the specific sequence, recorded on the medium. In another embodiment, the medium can be read out by the computer, and has one of fragments of the nucleotide sequence comprising the specific sequence or a degenerated variant thereof recorded on the medium.
