METHOD FOR PRODUCING TOBAMOVIRUS-RESISTANT PLANT, AND UTILIZATION THEREOF

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a Tobamovirus-resistant plant by which the resistance to Tobamovirus can be imparted to a plant, while minimizing the effects on the growth of the plant, using a factor on the host side related to RNA replication, and to provide utilization thereof.

SOLUTION: Activities for accelerating Tobamovirus proliferation with an ADP ribosylation factor-like polypeptide are made to deteriorate in a plant body. As a result of this, resistance to Tobamovirus can be imparted, while minimizing the effects on the growth of the plant.
