<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a semiconductor integrated circuit for strengthening power supply without affecting the size of a semiconductor chip by activating not the region of an internal integrated circuit but an I/O region. <P>SOLUTION: This semiconductor integrated circuit includes: an internal integrated circuit region 8 formed on a central side on a semiconductor chip 1; and an I/O region 2 formed on a semiconductor chip 1 outside the internal integrated circuit region 8. Then, when there is any empty region in a region adjacent to a power supply cell 3 arranged in a predetermined position in the I/O region 2, power supply cells 20 and 22 are inserted into the empty region, and the power supply cells 20 and 22 are electrically connected to the power supply cell 3 through added wiring patterns 5a and 5b. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
