<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an image forming apparatus in which faulty color development of toner can be prevented. <P>SOLUTION: In the image forming apparatus, toner T supplied onto a developing roll 16A rotates together with the developing roll 16A and is regulated by a charging blade 86 so that a single-layer state is provided to a toner layer. A peripheral velocity control part 88 of the image forming apparatus rotates the developing roll 16A and a photoreceptor roll 10 so that the peripheral velocity V1 of the developing roll 16A and the peripheral velocity V2 of the photoreceptor roll 10 are made equal, accordingly the toner T of a single-layer structure formed on the developing roll 16A develops an electrostatic latent image on the photoreceptor roll 10 while retaining the single-layer structure. The whole toner layer can be exposed with a sufficient light quantity through a color development information providing device 28 and faulty color development of the toner can be prevented. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
