ION EXCHANGE RESIN KEEPING METHOD DURING STOP OF CONDENSATE DEMINERALIZER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the ion exchange resin keeping method of a condensate demineralizer equipped with a mixed bed type ion exchange column capable of suppressing a fall in the capacity of an ion exchange resin and capable of rapidly bringing the condensate demineralizer from a stop state to a water passing state.

SOLUTION: In the ion exchange resin keeping method during stop of the condensate demineralizer 1 equipped with a desalting column 3 comprising the mixed bed type ion exchange column, the water stored in the desalting column 3 is replaced with new condensed water at a predetermined interval when the condensate demineralizer 1 is successively stopped for a predetermined period or above. The replacement of water is preferably performed once a week.
