<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To avoid such a situation that a main cap is detached from a bottle mouth and completely opens the bottle mouth, and to prevent a bottom lid that has fallen from being passed out of the bottle mouth and accidentally swallowed. <P>SOLUTION: On the internal circumferential face of a cap body 5 of the main cap 1, a fastening projection 5f is formed so as to be fastened by being engaged with the male threads 50b of the bottle mouth 50a. In addition, a separation preventing projection 5e is formed away from and below the projection 5f. The bottle cap has a distance L so that when the fastening projection is fastened by being engaged with the male threads of the bottle mouth, the separation preventing projection is forcibly moved over a locking flange 50d so as to be located below the flange 50d formed on the outer peripheral face of the bottle mouth below the male threads.
