<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method that exhibits physiological effects of catechins and that can facilitate the intake of amino acid, by formulating the amino acid in a packe drink containing nonpolymeric catechins at high concentrations. <P>SOLUTION: The packed drink contains (A) 0.06-0.5 mass% of nonpolymeric catechins, (B) 0.01-5.0 mass% of at least one kind selected from among L-aspartic acid, L-glutamic acid, L-alanine, DL-alanine, glycine, L-asparagine, L-glutamine, L-arginine, L-serine, L-tyrosine, L-cystine and L-proline, or salts thereof, and (C) 0.0001-20 mass% of sweetener.
