<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mounting device in which line length is shortened. <P>SOLUTION: The mounting device which press-fits a component to a side part of a substrate conveyed along a prescribed direction is provided with a table for holding and positioning the substrate and an attaching unit 2 and an actual press-fitting unit 4, which are long along one direction where the component is press-fitted to the side part of the substrate positioned by the table.
