<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a blood pressure measuring method and apparatus for judging whether or not blood pressure is measured in a stable state, and to measure the blood pressure under an appropriate measurement condition. <P>SOLUTION: The pulses of a user are measured by a sensor unit, the number of the pulses in a fixed interval measured by the sensor unit is counted by a counting unit, and the speed of the pulses is calculated on the basis of the value. Whether or not the pulse speed of the user is stable is judged by pulse speed change during the period, and the propriety of a measurement condition is displayed. Since whether or not the blood pressure measurement condition of the user is appropriate like a rest state is judged by the pulse change, the reliability of blood pressure measured value is improved. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
