PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a barrier film having transparency, flexibility, stretchability, pliability, etc., having excellent gas barrier functionality, improved in tearability, having linear cutting performance and further excellent in various physical properties such as impact resistance, bendability, etc. SOLUTION: The barrier film A having linear cutting performance comprises a biaxially stretched polyamide film 1 consisting of a mixed resin of a nylon resin and a nylon MXD6 resin and a barrier layer 2 provided on one side of the biaxially stretched polyamide film and composed of carbon-containing silicon oxide films 2a, 2b and 2c different in carbon content.
