PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress a fraudulent setting alteration in a slot machine. SOLUTION: After starting a game, this game machine forbids a setting alteration changing big win conditions. Only when reels are automatically stopped (S17) without executing any operation for several minutes after starting the rotation of the reels, the setting alteration is permitted (S18). The setting alteration is enabled only when the reels are automatically stopped, so that a person executing a fraud is forced to do such an unnatural act as executing no operation in a period from starting the rotation of the reels till automatically stopping them, thus easily finding the fraud.
