PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reproduce images in a specified quality as desired by users and to cope with image deterioration only on the reproducing side.

SOLUTION: This display controller displays images from various image sources on an external display and discriminates according to the importance of the images from the image sources and assigns the resource for displaying the image, according to the importance discriminated as above.
