<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten the hydrolysis time of a polylactic acid resin. <P>SOLUTION: The method for recycling a polylactic acid resin comprises successively carrying out a step for feeding a material to be treated composed of a waste containing a lactic acid-based biodegradable plastic to a treatment chamber 1, a step for heating the polylactic acid resin to a temperature close to the crystallization temperature of a polylactic acid for scores of minutes as a pretreatment, a step for subsequently shifting the heating to a hydrolysis treatment, feeding 20% of water based on the total weight of the material to be treated to the treatment chamber 1 and performing a heating mode, a step for condensing water vapor in the treatment chamber 1 by a cooling mode and a step for recovering an extracted aqueous solution of lactic acid. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
