<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a lighting fixture for a vehicle capable of being reduced in its total length enabled to perform optical control of irradiation light from a light source with the use of a Fresnel lens alone. <P>SOLUTION: The lighting fixture for a vehicle 100 is provided with a Fresnel lens 13 arranged on an optical axis Ax extended in an anteroposterior direction of the unit, and a light-emitting element 11 arranged toward a rear side of the Fresnel lens. The Fresnel lens 13 has a plurality of Fresnel lens steps formed coaxially with the optical axis Ax, with its center part where the optical axis Ax passes formed in a circular shape, while its peripheral part outside the center part formed of an ellipse gradually changing its aspect ratio as it gets away from the optical Ax. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
