LAMINATE COMPRISING METAL NANOPARTICLE/POLYMER COMPLEX AND OPTICAL WAVEGUIDE MATERIAL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To produce a laminate using a simple technique that makes a metal nanoparticle/polymer complex layer laminate on the surface of an optical waveguide material layer.

SOLUTION: A layered product comprising a metal nanoparticle/polymer complex and an optical waveguide material with the metal nanoparticle/polymer complex layer laminated on the surface of the optical waveguide material layer is established. Lamination is carried out, by applying a solution composition of the metal nanoparticle/polymer complex on the surface of the optical waveguide material layer and at least making it dry thereafter.
