<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a position detecting device of an elevator capable of eliminating a protrusion in a hoistway, and capable of correcting an error of a car stop position caused by the uneven load in the car. <P>SOLUTION: The position detecting device of the elevator is provided with a reflection plate 4 attached in such a manner of being tilted to have a prescribed angle α with respect to a perpendicular surface of a landing 2 side, forming a tilt surface 4a capable of varying a distance from the car 1, and reflecting a signal medium; a first non-contact distance measurement device 3 radiating the signal medium on the car 1 and measuring a first depth direction dimension L from the reflecting body 4; a second non-contact distance measurement device 6 for measuring a second depth direction dimension ΔL from a guide rail 5 on the car 1; and a car position calculating device 7 for calculating a deviation between a normal dimension measured by the second non-contact distance measurement device 6 and the second depth direction dimension ΔL when the guide rail 5 is vertically provided without receiving the uneven load, calculating a correction value of the first depth direction dimension L based on the deviation, and calculating a stop position of the car 1 (level difference (h)) by the correction value. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
