摘要 <p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To control power generation of a generator so that the average mileage of a vehicle decreases while taking account of the electric cost before and after a regenerative power generation section, based on the road map information of a navigation system. <P>SOLUTION: A regenerative power generation section and a regenerative power generation quantity in the future are predicted based on the road map information of a navigation system and after predicting the electric cost before and after a regenerative power generation section, and the power consumption in the regenerative power generation section, variation amount of SOC (ΔSOC) of the regenerative power generation section is predicted based on the regenerative power generation quantity and the power consumption of the regenerative power generation section. When theΔSOC of the regenerative power generation section is smaller than the width between allowable upper and lower limits of SOC of the battery, the target SOC at the end of the regenerative power generation section is set as the allowable upper limit if the electric cost before the regenerative power generation section is lower than that after the regenerative power generation section, otherwise the target SOC at the start of the regenerative power generation section is set at the allowable lower limit. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p>
