PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tile construction structure capable of easily forming a large number of joint lines having an excellent finished appearance. SOLUTION: An outermost surface, except a recess 5, of surfaces of a tile 1 is glazed and coated with a glaze 7, and a bottom surface of the recess 5 is also glazed and coated with a glaze 8 as a waterproof layer. The tile 1 is stuck on a substrate 4 with an organic adhesive 3. A joint gap is made between the tiles 1. The application of the coated joint makes the joint gap joint-filled with a cement-based joint material 2 (2a), and makes the recess 5 joint-filled with a cement-based joint material 2 (2b). The absorption of water by the tile 1 from the joint materials 2a and 2b is suppressed, and both the joint materials become almost identical in color to each other. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
