The device has a mixing container (32) provided for before-diluting and/or dissolving of an ingredient agent (39) with and/or in thinning liquid before producing a liquid. The mixing container is connected over a line (37), with which a dosing pump (38) feeds the before-diluted ingredient agent into a carrier liquid i.e. water, before the production of the liquid. A mixing device (31) is arranged between feeding positions of the diluted ingredient agent in a carrier fluid line (30) and spraying nozzles (19) of a spraying bar arrangement in the carrier fluid line. An independent claim is also included for a method for operating a spraying device.
