<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lens drive unit having high operational accuracy by removing influence of backlash. <P>SOLUTION: The lens drive unit 10 is provided with a movable holder 16 holding a lens, a guide rail 14 and a guide shaft 15 guiding movement of the movable holder 16 in an optical axis direction, a compression spring 17 energizing the movable holder 16 in the optical axis direction, a cam 19 abutting on the movable holder 16 by energizing force of the compression spring 17 and moving the position of the movable holder 16 by rotation and a stepping motor 18 whose output shaft 18a is connected to the cam 19 and giving rotational force to the cam 19. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
