MULTIBEAM SCANNER AND IMAGE FORMING DEVICE USING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multibeam scanner which does not cause defective scanning (printing).

SOLUTION: The multibeam scanner has a control section 107 which injects incident laser beams into a beam detection means 106 one by one before starting to scan with laser beams, monitors a detection signal of a laser beam generated at that time and recognizes that all the laser beams are normally generated and then start the generating action of a synchronous detection signal by the beam detection means 106.
