<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicular anti-theft device capable of promoting a vehicle rider to wear a helmet for riding a motorcycle. <P>SOLUTION: A vehicle body side immobilizer unit 50 to be mounted on a motorcycle 1 receives a signal including an ID code to be transmitted from a helmet side immobilizer unit 40 mounted on a helmet 30. An engine control unit 12 for performing the drive control of an engine 8 of the motorcycle 1 permits the start of the engine when the ID code is collated correctly. The helmet side immobilizer unit 40 and a loop antenna 45 are provided inside a hat body of the helmet 30. Further, the vehicle body side immobilizer unit when riding off the motorcycle is provided in a vicinity of the storage position of the helmet 30, and when the radio communication is performed between the unit and the helmet side immobilizer unit 40 and the ID code is collated correctly, the start of the engine 8 is prohibited. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
