<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for coding light ray information by which high image quality is provided by a relatively small coding processing load. <P>SOLUTION: Coding is performed with processing block data PRBK as a unit. A micro lens block MLB is constituted of 6×6 pixel data including light ray information. the PRBK are constituted of 8×8 MLBs. Predetermined pixel data L(u0, v0, s, t) of all the MLBs within the PRBK are subjected to JPEG coding and other pixel data L(u, v, s, t) are subjected to LZW compression. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
