PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wheel bearing device with a rotating speed detector for allowing easy work for replacing a sensor holder to improve repairing efficiency. SOLUTION: The wheel bearing device with the rotating speed detector comprises the sensor holder 10 having an annular cover 11, and a synthetic resin holding part 12 embracing a rotating speed sensor 14, the cover 11 consisting of a cylindrical fitted portion 11a externally fitted to the end of an outward member 5, a collar portion 11b extending therefrom inward in the radial direction, and a bottom portion 11c further extending inward in the radial direction. An annular recess 5d is formed in a corner between a fitting face 5c of the outward member 5 to which the cover 11 is fitted and a vehicle body mounting flange 5b, and an axial clearanceεof 0.5 mm or longer is formed between the end of the fitted portion 11a of the cover 11 and a side face 5e of the vehicle body mounting flange 5b.
