PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate a need for almost completely removing projections, which are gate marks of the resin plate, and effectively prevent misassembly and detachment of a resin plate relative to the supporting component in a coupling structure of a supporting component and a resin plate, and a manufacturing method thereof. SOLUTION: A step part 22 is provided to surround a surface side of a design panel 10, which is a supporting component. The step part 22 comprises an opening side face 24 which is continued from the surface side of the design panel 10, a bottom face provided at a deep side, and an inserting indentation 30 formed near the bottom face of the opening side face 24. The design plate 12a is coupled to the bottom face of the step part 22 while a projection 32, which is a gate mark formed in molding the design plate 12a that is a resin plate, is inserted in the inserting indentation 30.
