PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for molding a bead core for a tire which can always carry out uniform habit forming in a bead wire. SOLUTION: Since the bead wire 1 sent to the side of a molding drum 10 is made to form a habit to curve inside in the diameter direction of the molding drum 10 by a habit forming roller 12, force to return the shape of the bead wire 1 into alignment does not remain in the molded bead core 2 so that the bead core 2 without lowering fastening force to the inside in the tire diameter direction can be produced. Since a pair of auxiliary rollers 13 is pressed to the bead wire 1 wound onto the roller part 12a of the habit forming roller 12, the bead wire 1 can be pushed to the habit forming roller 12 by a constant force by the pressing of each auxiliary roller 13 even when the tension or the feed rate of the bead wire 1 is changed, so that uniform habit forming can always be carried out in the bead wire 1.
