PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of promoting hardening of a coating film in a pipe enabling easy supply of warm air at optimal temperatures to each branch pipe of a pipe for an optimal time. SOLUTION: The method comprises attaching heaters 51 and 53 heating air to be supplied to branch pipes 1-1 and 1-5 respectively to the ends of the branch pipes 1-1 and 1-5 of a pipe 1 installed in a building having two or more branch pipes 1-1 to 1-5, attaching an electromagnetic valve 65 to each of the ends of the branch pipes 1-2, 1-3 and 1-4 having no heaters 51 and 53 attached, supplying heated air from the ends of the branch pipes 1-1 and 1-5 with the heaters 51 and 53 attached to supply the heated air, in order, to the branch pipes 1-2, 1-3 and 1-4 with the electromagnetic valves 65 attached by switching the electromagnetic valves 65 so as to harden the coating films in the branch pipes 1-1 to 1-5.
