<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a life jacket for pet having the function of preventing drowning of a pet, such as, a dog and is free of the problems of conventional life jackets that sometimes lack of taking into consideration the morphological features of the dog, and the like, the difficulty in keeping the head above water surface, even for a short time in the case of a young pet having weak force, because the mouth and the nose of the pet are positioned close to the water surface, drowning of even a grown pet after a long time in water by the sinking of the head due to fatigue and to sink the mouth in water or by drinking water, having received high waves. <P>SOLUTION: In the life jacket body 1 having body-connecting members 4A, 4B that protrude from both sides of a plate float 3 which enables holding of the body of a pet, and a pair of neck-connecting members 5A, 5B that protrude from a side, corresponding to the head side of the plate float 3 which enables holding of the neck of the pet, a float piece 6 is projected from a neck-connecting member 5A that is positioned outside, when the jacket is worn on the pet. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
