<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of a titanium oxide having superior visible light absorbing characteristic and a photocatalytic activity under visible light. <P>SOLUTION: The manufacturing method of titanium oxide is characterised in that a raw material titanium oxide having a specific surface area of 200-400 m<SP>2</SP>/g, a half-value width 2θof anatase (101) peak by X-ray diffraction analysis of 0.60°-1.5°, and a crystal structure of anatase mainly; at least one of a sulfur compound and a nitrogen compound, or both of them; are mixed to obtain a firing raw material mixture, then the firing raw material mixture is fired. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
