PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rolling bearing device which is suitable for preventing the erroneous detection of a resolver when a radial load has been applied on the rolling bearing device. SOLUTION: Tapered surfaces 78a, 80a are formed on the fitting surface of a housing inner 22 to be fitted in the inner circumferential surface of an inner race 14a, and on the fitting surface of an inner race presser 26 to be fitted in the inner circumferential surface of the inner race 14a such that the diameters of the tapered surfaces increase axially toward the contact surface 76a of the housing inner 22 and the inner race presser 26. An elastic body 82a is arranged between the tapered surfaces 78a, 80a and the inner race 14a by mounting the inner race presser 26 in a compressed state. Further, tapered surfaces 78b, 80b are formed on the fitting surface of the rotor 12 to be fitted on the outer circumferential surface of an outer race 14b, and on the fitting surface of an outer race presser 28 to be fitted on the outer circumferential surface of the outer race 14b such that the diameters of the tapered surfaces 78b, 80b increase axially toward the contact surface 76b of the rotor 12 and the outer race presser 28. Further, an elastic body 82b is arranged between the tapered surfaces 78b, 80b and the outer race 14b in a compressed state by mounting the outer race presser 28. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
