PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the efficiency of a connecting operation by a connecting pipe with a simple structure. SOLUTION: The connecting pipe 1 comprises a body 2 and joints 3. The body 2 comprises a connecting pipe body 4, a protective pipe 5 covering the outer periphery of the connecting pipe body, and end protective caps 6 at both ends of the protective pipe. Both ends of the connecting pipe body 4 form projected mounting ends 4a projecting from the ends of the protective pipe 5. The joint body 7 of the joint 3 is inserted into the end of the projecting mounting end, secured, by caulking, by the sleeve 9 of the joint fitted to the projecting mounting end, and connectable to the connecting pipe members of a heat pump unit and a hot-water supply unit opposed to the joint part 8 for connection of the joint.
