PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thrust roller bearing for effectively preventing the separation of a cage from bearing rings without impairing their assembling efficiency. SOLUTION: The thrust roller bearing comprises a plurality of rollers, the cage, the annular first bearing ring having a raceway surface, an outer periphery collar portion and a first pawl portion, and the annular second bearing ring having a raceway surface, an inner periphery collar portion and a second pawl portion. Between the outer periphery collar portion and an outer edge portion of the cage and between the inner periphery collar portion and an inner edge portion of the cage, bearing internal clearances are provided for allowing eccentric rotation between the first bearing ring and the second bearing ring. At least one of the first and second pawl portions is an extending portion formed with bending work. Besides, the front end of the extending portion consists of a first inclined portion 14e at the corner on the side of facing the raceway surface, and a second inclined portion 14f at the corner on the opposite side in the thickness direction, whose radial length is relatively greater than that of the first inclined portion 14e.
